6th Grade Teacher
St. Andrew’s Episcopal School in Potomac, MD seeks a 6th grade Teacher to begin August 18, 2025.

Position: The job involves teaching four year-long courses of 6th grade social studies (ancient civilizations) and/or language arts in a vibrant middle school division. A minimum of three years teaching experience is desired. To complete the full-time component of this position, the person will be an advisor to 10-12 students, and sponsor an extracurricular activity with coaching team sports being a most sought after attribute.
Qualifications: BA in English, History, Education or similar field. Our community is diverse and applicants should possess a high degree of cultural competency and demonstrated success in working with students and colleagues from diverse backgrounds. Applicants should be skilled in the integration of technology as a tool to advance student learning. General flexibility, good humor, and the ability to work effectively as a team member are also essential.
