St. Andrew's Hosts Annual Family Heritage Festival
The full diversity of the St. Andrew’s community was on display in Lions Court on Friday, November 15 as the school hosted the annual Family Heritage Festival.
An afternoon-long celebration of St. Andrew’s diversity, the Family Heritage Festival offers students and families a chance to share aspects of their cultural heritage.
More than 30 countries were represented at the event which allowed Lower, Middle, and Upper School students to explore the food, customs, and traditions of other cultures.
The countries represented were: South Korea, Sweden, Argentina, Syria, Belgium, Japan, China, Singapore, Trinidad, Slovakia, South Africa, Colombia, Mexico, Ecuador, Colombia, Bolivia, Ireland, Iran, India, Australia, China,Thailand, Canada, Italy, El Salvador, Vietnam, Colombia, Nepal, Poland, Cuba and Pakistan.
The only downside of Family Heritage Festival? It only comes once a year. We look forward to seeing the community at next year’s event.
